Next year’s Burns’ Night Ceilidh dance will take place on Friday 24th January 2025. Arrival is from 6.30pm for prompt start at 7pm. We have planned a night of music, Scottish Country Dancing, a glass of wine or beer, and traditional Scottish food in the manner that Rabbie Burns declared more than 200 years ago. We have indeed found a suitable kitchen at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Promenade The Hague to which we return for a third Burns’ Night Ceilidh at this location. It is also the scene of our Balls for well over a decade at Van Stolkweg 1, 2585 JL Den Haag.

The dances we do may not be familiar to you, but don’t worry – we  have a “caller” – that’s what we Scots call the dance teacher who walks and talks us through each dance before we do it.

We hope that the January 2025 Ceilidh ticket price remains similar to prior years but that decision will be made nearer the time. For more information, or to book your ticket(s) please contact Marion via our contact us page. Your place will be confirmed by Ian once we receive the money for the tickets into our bank account with its IBAN below.  Please ensure that your payment is promptly received into our bank account as instructed by Marion or Ian.  The reason is simple – many of our recent events have reached capacity.

Our bank IBAN is NL51 ABNA 0608 8536 07

Those from outwith The Netherlands might also need our bank’s BIC code (also called SWIFT).  Our BIC is ABNANL2A

The Leonardo Royal Hotel Promenade The Hague, Van Stolkweg 1, 2585 JL Den Haag is located close to the middle of Scheveningseweg near to the World Forum tram stop on the Tram 1 route.

Depending upon the prevalence of Covid in the Netherlands, we may require testing prior to dancing. We will inform you nearer to the time if relevant.
